This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in catastrophe modelling, exposure management, underwriting, or actuarial analytics who enjoys working at the intersection of insurance expertise and data. This is not a software engineering or machine learning role-it’s a business-facing position focused on improving exposure data quality and delivering insights that support underwriting and portfolio decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading exposure data quality, validation, and governance initiatives
- Analysing exposure trends, accumulation risk, and portfolio concentrations
- Partnering with underwriting, actuarial, catastrophe modelling, and product teams
- Driving improvements to exposure data processes, standards, and documentation
- Supporting downstream analytics, modelling, and reporting capabilities
We’re looking to speak with professionals who have:
- 3+ years’ experience in catastrophe modelling, exposure management, underwriting, actuarial, or a related insurance analytics function
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large insurance datasets
- Familiarity with catastrophe modelling workflows and exposure data
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake is advantageous
- Python, R, or data governance experience would be a plus
If you’re interested in leveraging your insurance expertise within a highly analytical, collaborative environment and would like to learn more, I’d be happy to arrange a confidential conversation.
