Interim (SECONDMENT!) Financial Project Accountant – Energy Infrastructure | Gelderland (hybrid)
About the assignment
Our client is a large organisation in the energy sector. It is delivering some of the biggest infrastructure projects in the Netherlands. For one of its project clusters we are looking for an interim Financial Project Accountant. You will keep the project finances accurate and support the Financial Project Lead with reporting and analysis.
What you’ll do
- Reconcile project accounts and suspense accounts, and prepare corrections
- Maintain project structures and master data in the ERP system
- Be the point of contact for questions about invoices and hours booked to the projects
- Support reporting, forecasts and analyses of project spend
- Contribute to budget calculations and approval procedures
- Support the financial close-out of projects: WIP, asset inventories, closing reports
- Support risk, claim and contract management
What you bring
- Bachelor level of education and thinking
- At least 5 years of experience in project accounting or project control
- Experience with large capex or infrastructure projects; energy sector is a plus
- ERP experience (SAP preferred) and Power BI
- Working knowledge of IFRS
- Fluent English (Dutch not required)
- Based in the Netherlands
Practical
- Start: ASAP
- 6 months, with a good chance of extension
- Possibility of a permanent position afterwards
- Hybrid, 2 days a week at the office
- Salary: € 75.000 – € 90.000
