Global Project Manager

Global Project Manager – Change & Deployment (Manufacturing)
12-month contract | Fully remote | £450/day | Outside IR35

Our client is a long-established global manufacturing organisation undertaking a major transformation of how it serves its customer base worldwide. As part of a strategic global programme, they’re changing the way commercial relationships are managed – moving lower-tier accounts from in-person to remote/online support models – and need experienced Programme/Project Managers to drive that change across multiple regions.

The role

You’ll join a small, high-calibre team of three Regional Programme/Project Managers, working alongside two existing team members (one permanent, one contractor), reporting into the programme lead. You’ll take ownership of deployment across your regions – starting with the Americas, APAC, and Southern Europe – with each market running through a c.3-month intensive delivery phase followed by ongoing support.

Core responsibilities:

  • Analyse regional account data to identify which customers move to the new (remote) support model
  • Lead the change management and communications plan for affected customers and internal stakeholders
  • Build and execute a project plan (scope, milestones, resourcing) for each market deployment
  • Act as the go-to contact for your markets, managing risks, dependencies, and reporting
  • Navigate a traditional, long-tenured organisational culture – bringing structure and pace without alienating deeply embedded ways of working

What we’re looking for

  • Strong change management background – training, communications, stakeholder engagement
  • Solid project/programme management experience (3-5+ years), ideally with global or multi-market delivery
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, largely virtual, global team
  • Industry background open – manufacturing, automotive, or pharma experience is a plus
  • System implementation or “ways of working” rollout experience is a bonus, not essential
  • PMP, Agile, IPMA or similar certification preferred but not required

Process: 2 stage interview process
