Lead DevOps Engineer – AWS / CI/CD – Remote
6 month initial contract with potential for FTE Conversion
We’re looking for a hands-on Lead DevOps Engineer to work closely with application teams, designing and implementing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes across AWS environments.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex cloud and deployment challenges while using modern AI-assisted engineering tools to improve development and delivery.
What you’ll be doing:
- Partner with application teams to design and implement cloud infrastructure
- Build and maintain scalable AWS environments
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Implement and optimise Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud, infrastructure and deployment issues
- Improve the reliability, scalability and efficiency of development environments
- Use AI-assisted tools to create, debug and understand code, scripts, pipelines and cloud configurations
- Work closely with engineering teams to improve overall delivery processes
What we’re looking for:
- Strong hands-on DevOps engineering experience
- Solid AWS/cloud infrastructure experience
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and deployment automation
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tooling
- Strong troubleshooting and cloud engineering skills
- Comfortable working directly with application/development teams
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools is highly desirable
