Oliver James are supporting a leading Life insurance company who are looking for actuarial contractors to join their Reinsurance Operations team.
You will be supporting the reinsurance reconciliation by building cash flow projection models from DB benefit specifications and ensure policies are administered in line with original terms. This is a highly technical role.
This will suit a qualified actuary, or someone with significant actuarial experience. You must have strong understanding of DB Scheme specification, be able to build cash flow models in excel and have experience/understanding of reinsurance reconciliations
Engagement Type: Day rate contract (Daily rate confirmed on discussion)
Location: UK Based Remote/Hybrid
Start: ASAP – can accommodate January starts
Status: Inside IR35 (you must work through an umbrella company, non negotiable)
Required Experience:
- Life Actuary, Actuarial experience or similar
- 5+ years in a similar role (more total years experience welcome)
- Strong understanding of DB Pension scheme specifications.
- Excel Cash-flow modelling (Premiums, claims, lump sums, collateral)
- Reinsurance reconciliation experience
