Medical Economics Analyst

Oliver James are please to be working with a rapidly growing healthcare organisation that is looking to add a Medical Economics Analyst to its Value-Based Care team.

This position will sit within a lean Medical Economics function and play a key role in both assessing new VBC opportunities and monitoring the performance of existing risk arrangements. You’ll work with healthcare claims and utilisation data to understand medical-cost performance, forecast future experience and identify the underlying drivers of emerging trends amongst other responsibilities.

Role requirements:

  • Healthcare analytics, Medical Economics, actuarial or Value-Based Care experience
  • Healthcare claims and eligibility data experience
  • Exposure to Value-Based Care, provider risk, ACOs, capitation or shared-savings arrangements
  • Experience across Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and/or Commercial populations
  • Strong SQL capability

This is a particularly strong opportunity for someone looking to move beyond traditional reporting into a role where their analysis directly influences risk-contract decisions, financial performance and clinical interventions. This is a fully remote role and offers significant exposure and ownership within a growing specialist Value-Based Care organisation.
