Currently supporting our client on a Senior Portfolio Manager opportunity in Des Moines with a well-established financial institution.
This is a broad, hands-on seat for someone who wants exposure across fixed income, derivatives, structured products, funding, liquidity and portfolio risk rather than being tied to one specific product.
The role has a strong mix of investment decision making, trading and execution, relative value, risk management and strategic initiatives, with visibility to senior leadership.
What we’re looking for:
* 7+ years of investment experience
* Strong hands-on experience across fixed income, derivatives and/or securitized products
* Proven trading and execution experience
* Strong understanding of liquidity management, ALM and portfolio risk
* Experience identifying and acting on relative value opportunities
* Comfortable working directly with broker-dealers and internal stakeholders
* Strong understanding of hedge accounting
* Strong technical skill set is a must: SQL, advanced Excel and VBA
* Bloomberg proficiency
* CFA and/or MBA preferred
* Strong communication and presentation skills
$170K-$185K base + discretionary bonus
