Product Owner – Absence | Fully Remote | Long-Term Contract
I’m currently partnering with a leading life insurance organization on their search for Product Owners with strong Absence experience to support a major Benefits portal transformation.
This is an opportunity to join a strategic programme focused on delivering a new customer and claimant portal experience, working closely across Product, Engineering, UX and Claims.
The initial focus will be on delivering an MVP for the Absence experience, before expanding across the broader Benefits portfolio.
Key focus areas:

Driving delivery across a new customer-facing digital portal experience for Absence

Working closely with Product, Engineering, UX and Claims teams to translate business and user needs into effective digital solutions

Supporting the delivery of complex digital products and large-scale programmes across Absence, Claims and front-end customer experiences

Partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify gaps and drive clarity in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment

Working closely with UX to ensure requirements and technical solutions translate into an effective end-user experience
About you:
We’re looking for Product Owners who are comfortable operating in the detail of complex programmes, can work autonomously across multiple stakeholders, and have strong experience delivering customer-facing digital products or portals.
Direct experience across Absence / Leave Management / FMLA is particularly important for this opportunity.
