Project Management – Corporate Applications Implementation

Lead high-impact corporate application transformations within a major international Financial Services environment.

    • Join a major international financial infrastructure organization and lead critical IT projects supporting Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Audit and other corporate functions.
    • Take ownership of large-scale corporate application implementations, upgrades and transformation initiatives across a highly complex international environment.
    • Work with senior-level business and IT stakeholders, internal teams and external strategic partners across multiple locations.
    • Own the delivery of projects with significant scope, budgets, resources, dependencies and business impact.
    • Navigate complex business / IT dependencies and make delivery happen across multiple teams, entities and disciplines.
    • This is NOT a PMO or coordination role: you will be accountable for the actual delivery and challenge stakeholders when required.
    • 5+ years of IT Project Management AND strong Financial Services experience are mandatory.
    • Only senior profiles with proven experience delivering complex enterprise application projects in Financial Services will be considered.
    • Regular on-site presence in Brussels is mandatory – this is a hybrid role, not a fully remote position.

    Senior Project Manager – the job:

    You will…

    • Lead complex corporate application projects end-to-end, including new package/ERP implementations, major upgrades and enhancements across SaaS, Cloud and on-premise environments.
    • Own delivery accountability for scope, budget, resources, planning, risks, dependencies, issues and change control across multiple teams and locations.
    • Drive senior business and IT stakeholders to decisions, challenge scope and requirements, manage conflicts and ensure delivery against strategic objectives.

    Senior Project Manager – your profile:

    You are/have…

    • 5+ years of proven IT Project Management experience – mandatory. You have personally led complex projects; PMO, coordination or support-only experience is not sufficient.
    • Strong and proven Financial Services experience – mandatory. Banking, Insurance or Financial Infrastructure environments are required. Candidates without significant Financial Services experience will not be considered.
    • Proven delivery of large-scale corporate / enterprise application implementations, upgrades or transformation projects. Small-scale application projects are not relevant.
    • Strong ownership of substantial scope, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies and change management.
    • Extensive experience managing senior stakeholders, international teams, multiple disciplines and third-party / outsourcing partners.
    • The seniority and assertiveness to challenge business and IT stakeholders, negotiate scope, resolve conflicts and drive difficult decisions.
    • Based in or able to regularly work from Brussels, with the flexibility and willingness to be on-site in Brussels as part of a hybrid working model. Fully remote profiles will not be considered.
