Remote Senior Financial Analyst – Reinsurance / Life Insurance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and statutory accounting principles.
  • Support technical accounting research and the implementation of new accounting standards.
  • Partner with finance and business stakeholders on life insurance and reinsurance accounting matters.
  • Assist with external audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop financial analysis and reporting to support business performance and strategic decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and internal controls.

Requirements:

  • CPA qualified.
  • Public accounting experience with a Big 4 or national accounting firm.
  • Experience auditing or advising life insurance and/or reinsurance clients.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and insurance accounting principles (statutory accounting experience is highly desirable).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote, collaborative environment.
