An established and highly respected insurance carrier is looking to hire a Senior General Liability Adjuster to join their claims team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced GL professional to take on complex, high-exposure claims in a collaborative, analytical environment.
- Manage a portfolio of complex general liability claims from coverage review through resolution
- Evaluate liability, damages, and coverage across a wide range of exposures including product, premises, construction, and environmental
- Collaborate with defense counsel on litigation strategy and attend mediations/settlement discussions as needed
- Work closely with internal underwriting and actuarial teams to assess trends and identify risk patterns
- Maintain high-quality file documentation, internal reporting, and timely decision-making
- Participate in internal claims meetings and roundtables with senior leadership
- Deliver excellent claims service while driving appropriate file outcomes and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Act as a technical resource within the team and contribute to a culture of excellence and accountability
