Tax Counsel – P&C Insurance [NYC]

A leading global insurance organization is seeking a Tax Counsel to join its legal team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of tax matters while partnering closely with legal, finance, and business stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on tax-related legal matters affecting the business
• Support strategic transactions and corporate initiatives
• Partner with internal stakeholders on tax planning and risk management
• Monitor developments in tax law and provide practical guidance
• Collaborate with internal and external advisors on complex issues

Qualifications

• J.D. and active bar membership
• 4+ years of relevant tax experience (in-house or private practice)
• P&C insurance exposure
• Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $150,000 – $250,000
