As a Tax Director, you’ll be a trusted advisor to both clients and Partners, leading complex engagements, driving proactive tax planning strategies and mentoring the next generation of tax professionals.

What you’ll be doing

• Review and oversee complex individual, partnership, trust and business tax returns.

• Lead tax planning engagements for high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses.

• Build trusted relationships with clients and become their go-to advisor on tax matters.

• Research complex tax issues and develop practical solutions.

• Represent clients before federal and state taxing authorities.

• Mentor, coach and develop Managers, Seniors and Staff.

• Work closely with Partners on practice development and identifying opportunities to grow client relationships.

• Play a key role in developing the firm’s tax practice through networking and business development.

What we’re looking for

• CPA or Enrolled Agent.

• 10+ years of public accounting tax experience.

• Experience reviewing complex individual, partnership, corporate, estate and trust returns.

• Proven leadership experience managing and developing tax teams.

• Strong technical research and tax planning capabilities.

• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

• Business development experience or an interest in growing a practice is highly valued.
