The Opportunity

This position will play an important role in developing the accounting and finance capabilities of a growing life reinsurance platform.

Working closely with senior finance leadership and colleagues across international teams, you will have exposure to a broad range of accounting and operational activities, with the opportunity to improve processes, strengthen controls and help build a scalable finance function.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing accounting reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.

• Understanding reinsurance contracts and their associated accounting processes.

• Reviewing system feeds, ledger entries and underlying data.

• Supporting financial close, management reporting and financial analysis.

• Strengthening internal controls and improving accounting procedures.

• Coordinating with international colleagues across finance, operations and actuarial teams.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in life insurance, life reinsurance, or annuity accounting.

• Strong reconciliation, accounting operations, and controls experience.

• Understanding of how transactions and underlying data flow through accounting systems.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• US GAAP experience

• Familiarity with US statutory or Bermuda statutory reporting.

• CPA qualification would be a bonus.
