As a Workers’ Compensation Claims Representative, you will be responsible for determining compensability and coverage issues, managing a diverse caseload of lost time claims, and coordinating the investigation and litigation process. You’ll work closely with claimants, attorneys, medical providers, investigators, and insureds to gather evidence, evaluate claims, and negotiate fair settlements under management review. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple jurisdictions, and in-depth knowledge of workers’ compensation.
Current hiring needs include:
- Southeast: Experience handling GA, TN, AL, and NC claims (GA adjuster license required)
- Southeast: Experience handling FL and NC claims (FL adjuster license required)
- California: California SIP certification required
- Mixed Desk: Arizona adjuster license required; Colorado claims experience preferred
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of Workers’ Compensation claims adjusting experience with an insurance carrier
- Experience managing lost time claims from inception through resolution
- Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation statutes, compensability investigations, litigation management, and claim resolution
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and conflict resolution skills
