Experienced Technical Lead – Java (German-speaker)

We’re supporting a well-established technology company in the financial services space that is looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to help shape and scale a mission-critical software platform.
The role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering, working on modern backend systems in a regulated environment with a strong focus on quality, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Java.
- Drive technical decisions, architecture, and engineering best practices.
- Take ownership of features from design through deployment and production.
- Support developers through coaching, reviews, and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
Requirements
- Several years of software engineering experience with strong Java backend expertise.
- Previous experience in a technical leadership role, or leading technical projects.
- Solid experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
- Fluent German and English.
