Job Opportunity: Senior Allvue Developer

Overview
Our client is looking for a Senior Allvue Developer to take ownership of their Allvue platform, driving configuration, enhancements, integrations, and ongoing platform optimization.
This is not a traditional application support role.
They’re looking for someone with deep hands-on Allvue experience who understands investment management operations and fund accounting processes. The ideal candidate will come from an asset management background and have experience supporting platforms used across portfolio management, trading, compliance, analytics, and accounting functions.
Required Experience
- Strong hands-on experience configuring and developing within the Allvue platform.
- Asset management experience with a strong understanding of investment operations and fund administration.
- Expertise across Allvue modules including:
- Portfolio Management
- Research
- Trade Order Management
- Compliance
- Portfolio Monitoring & Analytics
- Fund, Investment & Corporate Accounting
- Experience configuring workflows, reports, user roles/permissions, and data mapping between modules.
- Strong SQL (T-SQL) skills for reporting, troubleshooting, and validating data.
- Experience supporting APIs, integrations, and ETL/data pipelines.
- Knowledge of version control, CI/CD, testing practices, and technical documentation.
- Experience partnering with vendors, managing releases, and supporting platform upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, enhance, and support the Allvue platform across investment and accounting functions.
- Develop SQL queries to investigate data issues and validate reporting outputs.
- Support integrations between Allvue and downstream systems including accounting and reporting platforms.
- Act as the primary technical contact with Allvue, managing support escalations, releases, and enhancement requests.
- Coordinate upgrades, testing, UAT, and production deployments.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Allvue configurations and solutions.
- Maintain clear technical documentation of configurations, integrations, and data flows.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting private equity, private credit, CLOs, fixed income, or equity investments.
- Understanding of GAAP/statutory investment reporting.
- Experience working within an insurance asset management environment.
- Previous experience leading Allvue implementations or major platform enhancements.
