Job Opportunity: Senior Business/Data Analyst – Policy Data Conversion (DXC Vantage / WMA)

Overview:

Our client is undertaking a major Life & Annuity policy administration transformation, migrating policies from legacy platforms including DXC Vantage, LifeComm, Ingenium, and Life/70 onto a single modern administration system.

With multiple releases already underway, the focus is now on ensuring policy values, calculations, and product outcomes transition accurately.

This is not a traditional Business Analyst or reporting-focused Data Analyst role. It sits at the heart of the conversion effort, ensuring policies migrate successfully and perform as expected on the new platform.

The Opportunity:

You will partner with Product, Actuarial, Technology, and vendor teams to validate policy conversions, investigate discrepancies, and ensure life and annuity products function correctly after migration.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who understands the complexity of Life & Annuity policy administration transformations and has hands-on experience supporting conversion initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong Life Insurance and/or Annuity domain experience
• Experience supporting policy administration system conversions or migrations
• Experience with policy reconciliation, balancing, and conversion testing
• Strong data analysis skills, ideally using Excel, Alteryx, or similar tools
• Experience with legacy administration platforms such as:

• DXC Vantage
• LifeComm
• Ingenium
• Life/70
• AdminServer

Important:

This role is particularly well suited to individuals who have worked on DXC Vantage migrations or WMA transformation programs.

Candidates without prior Life & Annuity policy administration experience or conversion experience are unlikely to be a fit.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Validate policy values and product functionality between legacy systems and the new platform.
• Perform policy-level balancing and reconciliation activities, ensuring premiums, benefits, calculations, and policy values transition accurately.
• Investigate discrepancies and determine whether issues stem from conversion logic, product configuration, calculations, or legacy system behavior.
• Analyze large datasets and balancing reports to support conversion activities and release readiness.
• Partner closely with Product, Actuarial, Technology, and third-party vendor teams to resolve issues and maintain delivery momentum.
• Support dress rehearsals, cutover activities, and key release events.
