I’m currently working with a leading international commercial insurer that is investing heavily in the growth of its European Commercial & Specialty platform. As part of this expansion, they’re looking to appoint an experienced Business Pricing Actuary to join a highly visible European actuarial team.

This is far more than a technical pricing role. You’ll work directly alongside senior underwriting teams, helping to shape pricing strategy, influence portfolio performance and support profitable growth across a diverse Commercial & Specialty portfolio. The business is also investing significantly in its digital pricing capabilities, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys innovation and transformation.

What you’ll be doing

• Partnering with underwriting teams to support strategic pricing decisions across Commercial & Specialty business.
• Developing and enhancing technical pricing models and digital rating tools.
• Monitoring portfolio performance and identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
• Delivering pricing insights and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Supporting pricing transformation initiatives and helping shape best practice across the European business.
• Working on projects with real commercial impact in a collaborative international environment.

What we’re looking for

• Qualified (or nearly qualified) P&C Actuary.
• Strong Commercial Lines pricing experience.
• Experience working closely with underwriting and business stakeholders.
• A commercial mindset with the ability to translate technical analysis into strategic decisions.
• Experience with Python and/or SQL would be advantageous.
• Fluent English is essential.
