We are looking for a Senior Data Architect who can bridge the gap between business requirements, data engineering and enterprise architecture. You will design future-proof data architectures and help teams ensure that data is managed consistently, reliably and at scale.
What will you do?

Design and maintain data architectures for complex data landscapes.

Define architecture principles and standards for data platforms.

Develop data models and data integration patterns.

Advise on data warehousing, data lakes and modern cloud platforms.

Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Solution Architects.

Ensure data quality, consistency and reusability.

Support the modernisation of existing data environments.

Advise on data governance, metadata management and data lineage.

Evaluate new technologies and architectural approaches.

Translate business requirements into practical architectural solutions.
What are we looking for?

At least 7 years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience designing complex data architectures.

Strong knowledge of data modelling and data warehousing.

Experience with cloud-based data platforms.

Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data integration.

Knowledge of data governance and data quality.

Experience producing architecture documentation and technical guidelines.

Strong communication skills and the ability to influence architectural decisions.
Nice to have

Experience with azure cloud platform.

Knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric.

Experience with Data Mesh or Lakehouse architectures.

Knowledge of metadata management and data lineage.

Experience within a large enterprise environment.
