We are looking for a Senior Project / Implementation Manager for a 12 Month Daily Rate Contract with view to extend. 3 days required onsite per week in Dublin City Centre.

Role Overview

• Lead the successful delivery of implementation, business transformation and system conversion projects of varying scale and complexity, ensuring delivery against scope, budget, schedule and quality objectives.
• Define project scope, business requirements, delivery plans, resource allocation and governance frameworks while establishing clear milestones and decision-making processes.
• Manage cross-functional project teams, providing leadership, coaching and performance oversight to achieve programme objectives.
• Direct technology implementations, data migration and system integration activities, including the introduction of new products, operational processes and business capabilities.
• Oversee customer and third-party integrations, ensuring effective risk management, business continuity and smooth operational transition.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact throughout programme lifecycles. Provided regular executive reporting, managed risks and issues, and supported strategic decision-making to ensure successful delivery.

• Project Delivery: Extensive experience delivering complex, large-scale projects within fast-paced, matrix organisations. Skilled in managing multiple concurrent initiatives and adapting Agile and Waterfall methodologies to meet business and organisational objectives.
• Change Management: Proven track record of leading organisational change, driving stakeholder engagement and embedding new technologies, processes and ways of working.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication: Strong ability to build trusted relationships with executive sponsors, senior leaders, technical teams and external partners. Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills, with experience translating complex information into clear business outcomes.
• Leadership: Experienced in leading high-performing, cross-functional teams, promoting collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering strategic business value.
• Technical Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of programme governance, project delivery frameworks and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC). Experienced in managing software implementation, system integration and technology-enabled business change.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with extensive programme and project management experience gained within complex, cross-functional environments.
• Extensive (10+ years) experience partnering with business stakeholders to deliver strategic change initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, make informed business decisions and resolve complex delivery challenges.
• Professional project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) is desirable.
• Consulting experience would be advantageous but are not essential.
• Proven experience delivering projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, combined with a proactive, resilient and results-driven approach.
• Background in financial services, banking, fintech or payments would be an advantage but not a deal breaker
