A fast-growing specialty insurance platform is looking to hire a Accounts Receivable Manager to join its US Operations team.
This is a fully remote opportunity for someone who understands the operational side of P&C insurance and wants a role with real ownership, senior stakeholder exposure and plenty of scope to improve how things are done.
You’ll sit at the intersection of Operations, Finance, Technology, Distribution and outsourced service partners, taking ownership of key processes across onboarding, premium, bordereaux, cash and data.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead operational onboarding for new underwriting partners and business expansions.
- Own the flow of bordereaux, premium and cash data, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Work directly with underwriting partners to investigate and resolve data and operational issues.
- Oversee outsourced operational teams and hold them accountable to agreed KPIs.
- Monitor collections, debt and cash processes and step in on more complex issues.
- Produce operational performance reporting and provide insight to senior stakeholders.
- Strengthen controls, processes and reporting across the wider Operations function.
- Identify opportunities to automate, simplify and improve existing workflows.
- Act as a key operational point of contact for a portfolio of insurance partners.
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years’ P&C insurance experience, ideally within MGA, specialty or delegated authority environments.
- Strong understanding of insurance operations, bordereaux, premium and cash processes.
- Experience working with MGA / underwriting operations is highly desirable.
- Comfortable managing external partners and challenging issues through to resolution.
- Strong communicator who can work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized, commercially minded and comfortable working autonomously.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Fully remote across the US.
