We are looking for an experienced IT Cloud Specialist to join one of our main clients.
Contract Type: Freelance
Initial Contract: 6 months + extensions
Work Model: Hybrid in Barcelona
Key Responsibilities

Lead and support cloud migration initiatives from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.

Design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure across multi-cloud environments.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful delivery and operations.

Define and execute cloud strategies aligned with business and technical requirements.

Improve application performance, scalability, security, and availability in cloud environments.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and DevOps best practices.

Establish governance, security standards, and operational procedures for cloud services.

Monitor, optimize, and manage cloud costs and resource utilization.

Support modernization and cloud-native transformation initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.

Proven experience in cloud migration and infrastructure modernization projects.

Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.

Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Knowledge of CI/CD practices and automation tools.

Experience with monitoring, observability, and cloud security solutions.

Solid understanding of networking, identity management, storage, databases, and high-availability architectures.

Ability to work in complex enterprise environments and coordinate with multiple teams.
