We’re partnering with a fast-growing Financial Services organization to hire a Salesforce Team Lead for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This is a fully remote position with occasional travel to the East Coast.
This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who enjoys mentoring developers, driving Salesforce best practices, and delivering scalable enterprise solutions.You’ll lead a high-performing Salesforce development team while remaining involved in solution architecture and complex development initiatives. You will need the ability to deep dive into the work of the team and demonstrate your hands-on experience.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Salesforce Developers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
- Provide technical leadership across Salesforce development projects, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions
- Partner with Product Managers, Salesforce Admins, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Oversee solution design, code quality, architecture reviews, and deployment processes
- Establish and promote development standards, CI/CD best practices, and DevOps processes
- Support integrations across the Salesforce ecosystem, including third-party platforms and AI-enabled solutions
- Identify opportunities to improve platform performance, user experience, and development efficiency
Required Experience
- 7+ years of Salesforce development experience, including leadership of development teams
- Proven experience leading Salesforce implementations and enterprise-scale enhancements
- Deep expertise with Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Flow Builder, and Salesforce architecture
- Experience within financial services, lending, or fintech is highly desirable
- Experience with integrations including DocuSign, Slack, Git, Einstein AI, and other enterprise applications
- Familiarity with AgentForce, Gemini, Claude, and AI-driven Salesforce capabilities
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, and version control
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or other advanced Salesforce certifications are highly preferred
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
