Our client, a $50B AUM private equity firm, is seeking a Vice President, Fund Finance. They are looking for an ambitious leader to join their growing team. This is a hybrid role (3 days in office) with a competitive compensation model. This is a senior leadership position owning liquidity and financing strategy across a multi-strategy fund platform. You will set the framework for how capital is deployed, financed, and protected, while building out a high-performing team.
What You’ll Do
- Lead liquidity planning and long-term cash flow forecasting, translating deal pipeline and capital activity into clear deployment strategy
- Structure, negotiate, and manage fund-level financing, including subscription line and NAV facilities, with lending partners
- Build and maintain sophisticated models that project cash needs, financing capacity, and portfolio-level outcomes under multiple scenarios
- Establish and monitor leverage, liquidity, and risk guardrails across fund vehicles, flagging issues early and recommending action
- Oversee currency exposure and hedging across the portfolio
- Partner with investment, finance, and risk stakeholders to inform capital decisions and ensure the accuracy of the underlying data
- Drive improvements to policies, controls, and processes to increase efficiency and scale as the platform grows
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and associates
What You Bring
- 7+ years in investment management, including 3+ years in private markets fund operations
- Hands-on experience with fund-level credit facilities (subscription line, NAV, or similar)
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; coding experience a plus
- Proven ability to lead teams and communicate with senior stakeholders
