We’re partnering with a leading Life Insurance organization that is expanding its Product team to support a major Disability and Absence portal transformation.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering a new customer and claimant portal experience, working closely across Product, Engineering, UX and Claims.
The immediate priority is to rapidly deliver an MVP portal for Disability, covering both the Claimant and Customer experience, with the roadmap set to expand into the broader Absence experience across our full product portfolio and integration with the FINEOS Claims platform. This is a fast-moving environment with a tight delivery timeline, so you’ll need to be comfortable operating with pace, autonomy, and ambiguity – taking ownership of delivery in your area, working closely with Engineering, UX, and Business stakeholders, and getting into the detail rather than waiting for direction.
Non-Negotiable Experience:
- Strong experience delivering complex, customer-facing digital products or large-scale digital solutions, ideally involving front-end experiences and digital customer journeys.
- A strong understanding of front-end systems and how technical solutions translate into the end-user experience.
- Proven experience driving delivery across complex programmes, working closely with Engineering, UX and Business stakeholders.
- The ability to operate independently and with a high level of autonomy, taking ownership, working through ambiguity and driving clarity where required.
Candidates who cannot demonstrate experience delivering complex customer-facing digital solutions, working closely across Product, Engineering and UX, and independently driving delivery within a fast-moving environment will not be considered.
Highly Beneficial Experience
- Experience delivering self-built portals
- Experience with employee and/or employer portals
- Group Benefits experience, particularly Disability, Absence, STD or LTD
- Experience supporting Claims or Admin capabilities
Key Candidate Attributes
- Assertive, proactive and a strong self-starter
- Comfortable taking direction while also showing significant initiative
- Able to operate independently rather than simply waiting for instruction
- Comfortable working through ambiguity and identifying gaps
- Experienced operating “in the weeds” of large-scale, complex programmes
- Comfortable escalating issues and driving clarity when required
The Opportunity
These are initially contract positions, but the programme represents an area of expected longer-term need as the team and portal capabilities continue to grow.
